THE PARK

Simon Bolivar is a park located in the north part of Bogota, it is the most important park in Bogota, people ussually make differente events on it, for example concerts, religious meeting between many other. On sundays Bogotan citizens ussually go there for working out, walking, runing, resting or just for broke the routine and visit a pure place into the big city.

GOLD MUSEUM

In 1939, the goverment of colombia decides to create a new museum in roder to preservate the cultural patrimony in Colombia, the first collection was called, "poporo quimbaya", this collection was made about a great number of pieces of gold that owned to our ancestries, and it was founded in Quimbaya, Quindio, while some people was building during their constrution they found these pieces into the eart, and they brough them to Bogota in order doctors and antropologies studied it, when they could see these pieces were original the goverment who was lead by Eduardo Santos, decides to create an special place just for conserving this kind of intruments.

NATIONAL MUSEUM

The national museum is in Bogota city, is located in downtown, in 7 aveniun with 28 street. its fundation was in 1823, this museum is the oldest museum in the country, and also one of the oldest in America, while two centuries this museum has been conserving great part of the Colombian history, tha is why is the most importan monument in colombia, and how Bogota is the capital city, Bogota has the chance to get this museum in it.

WHY DO PEOPLE IMMIGRATE TO BOGOTA?

Bogota is called the city of the oportunities in Colombia, we have the local trade center, in Bogota, and of course the site of the president also is located in Bogota, we have one of the best ways of publis transportation in colombia, Transmilenio, the site of the Senat, of the congress, the most top building in colombia, the best universities in Latinoamerica, and many other reasons that could take the people to think Bogota is the perfect destiny for linving.

Actually, in our country we have been crossing for troubles taking account social issues, and the most difficult issue has been the forced immigration, and people think the best they can do is going to Bogota, and this issue has caused a big problem in our citiy, because Bogota has became in the city who receives every kind of people, and oportunities of work, and study has decrease, and unemployment has increased, even those, people continue immigrating to Bogota.

But is it Bogota prepare to receive all the immigrated people from colombia? has Bogota got the enougth resources to help people to survive on it?

We have to make ourselves this kind of questions and we have to see, if Bogota is actual the city of oportunities in colombia.
